All survival response effectiveness is based on PRIOR planning. If you need to build a fire - how are you going to light it? To be effective you have to plan for what you will do prior to the event arriving.
All urban disasters are life threatening for varying lengths of time which you have to survive through.
Disasters can take many forms. The biggest uncertainty is how long the effects of a given disaster will last. After the 6.2 earthquake in 2011 at Christchurch, New Zealand some big areas around Christchurch city did not get electrical power back for over a year.
This class will cover in depth the awareness, planning and implementation of your survival plan.
